Saeed Torabi Ziaratgahi

I am a PhD student at the University of Saskatchewan in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. My field is numerical analysis and numerical simulation.  My research focus is on numerical methods for solving ordinary differential equations (ODEs) and partial differential equations (PDEs).

I am currently working on the heart simulation. The electrical activity in the heart can be modelled by system of ODEs and PDEs and I work on developing efficient methods for solving heart models.

My research interests includes numerical simulation and numerical analysis, computer science and computer programming, and artificial intelligence and machine learning.

I received my M.Sc degree in applied math at the Isfahan University of technology (2010-Iran) and received my B.Sc degree in applied math at the Sheikh-Bahaee University of Isfahan (2007-Iran).

I spend most of my free times on playing and watching soccer, watching movies, documentaries, and TV series, and listening to music.
